The rallye is moving this year to Diamond Don’s campground 1 mile north of Jefferson on Highway 49. This is a beautiful campground located in the woods of East Texas. It is only 1 mile from Jefferson with all its antique shops, stores, and restaurants. The campground sits on 100 acres and has 50 RV hook ups along with a dump station. There are clean restrooms and free Wi-Fi. The center of the campground has a huge covered pavilion with a stage, sound system, lighting, and a bar with a fridge. The pavilion will be operating hub of the rallye where we will have the awards ceremony and dinner Saturday night. It has seating for 200 people. There are sprinklers throughout the campground which makes it a nice grassy location with no dust. There is a campground PA system as well. A river runs along the western edge of the campground which is also the route for Don’s vintage train that can be boarded in downtown Jefferson. This location has a large central open area that is perfect for our new field events being held on Friday and for our traditional bike show and rolling concours to be held on Saturday. As an added attraction there is a fenced in alligator pit! We are very excited to be able to move our successful rallye to this new location that will enable us to grow and add more events. On August 6^th, Clay Walley, Randy Bauer, Jay Pope and I rode out to meet with Don and his wife Francene to finalize LOP details. Francene organizes their big vintage motocross event every year. This year they had 1,000 people so she is very good at her job.  Don is committed to making this an epic event. This is going to be the best rallye ever!
Here's a list of amenities and features:
We can use the police tape, cones, and PA system they use for the motocross event at no cost.
They will supply tables and chairs for 400 people under the pavilion.
Unlimited use of the pavilion, stage, sound system, pool table, and bar with fridge.
Don will plant fescue the first of September throughout the campground and water and mow so it will be lush and ready for us.
Daily runs of the water truck on the gravel road to keep the dust down.
Unlimited use of the 50 RV hookups (which can double up to basically 100 spots) Thursday through Sunday.
Participants arriving earlier will be responsible to pay for their spots direct to Don.
Free WiFi.
We will have the ice available at the rallye. A huge bag of ice for $3.00 delivered right to your campsite plus an ice cream stand.

A local rock/country band is available for Saturday night but they will need to quit at 11pm.
Don will do an alligator feeding event if the water hasn’t gone below 70 degrees when they hibernate.
For an additional $25.00 per pump we can get RV’s pumped out at their campsites throughout the event.
A controlled burn pit at your campsite is ok but not officially sanctioned.  So far there is no burn ban this year.
