Chris Parry started the formal portion of the meeting on time by detailing all the upcoming events for the next two months starting with the British Bike Burnup next Sunday.  There will be a club group ride to the event starting at Pappas' BBQ with kickstands up at 1 PM.

On Saturday, 7 Sept. members are encouraged to go to the "Cars & Coffee" event in Plano.  Check it out by clicking here.

Stanley Miller mentioned the "Southern Throwdown" motorcycle gathering in Deep Ellum - Dallas on Friday thru Sunday, 13th thru 15th Sept.  Click here for the flyer.

There is a private track day hosted by Peckerhead Motorcycle Racing on Monday, 16 Sept.  Details can be found by clicking here.

Our Sept. club meeting will NOT be at Captain Commando's residence this year.  Phil will be out of town.  It will be at Eurosport Cycle on 29 Sept., the last Sunday of Sept.

Dennis Tackett mentioned that because of a mechanical issue Ryan wasn't able to race the Daytona 675 and has fallen back to second place in the Heavyweight Twins class.   However, after the meeting Ryan sent a text message stating he just won the race at Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, TX.

Club dues are due in August.  Memberships will expire if not paid by 29 Sept.  That is also the last day to take advantage of the $5 saving by pre-registering for the
