From Daniel Peirce, Trick Photography Creator of the Up-N-Smoke Engine Project- www.trickphotog.com Author of "The Fine Art of the Motorcycle Engine." Due for release in September. THE GOOD NEWS: I've been commissioned to produce the event poster for the 2009 Antique Motorcycle Club of America's National Swap Meet in Davenport, IA. Cool, I'm honored to even be considered. Their theme for next year is the "quarter liter" motorbike. Basically any bike with an engine with a displacement greater than 200cc and less than 251cc. They want me to produce a poster with a collage of 12-15 250cc engines from a variety of makes. THE BAD NEWS: Now I have to find a variety of vintage (1974 or older) 250cc motorcycles to photograph. The only 250cc engine I have in my project collection is a Tiger Cub. I need more. Any make will be considered. If you have a bike that qualifies, and you'd like it on a famous event poster then contact me at trickphotog@tx.rr.com or (817) 658-8053. Please pass this along to anyone you feel would be interested. Thanks, Dan. |
