The June NTNOA Meeting was held at 2pm at Strokers as part of the Bike Show Event that the Club organized in conjunction with Mr Rick Fairless on Sunday June 24. Proceedings were held in the air-conditioned Strokers offices (thanks Rick!) and were kept to a minimum, prior to the guided tour of the premises that was kindly laid on by Rick.

Order of business was to thank our gracious host, advise that our next meeting will be at Big D Cycle on July 31 and thank Mr Richard Asprey of Aggressive Insurance for sponsoring the Show.  A reminder was made to all Show participants to provide name and address so their medal can be mailed.  Members were also reminded that the next Club organized event will be the Lake O' the Pines Rallye on Sep 30 to Oct 2 and the question was raised concerning when registration and pre-payment will be available via NTNOA website.  Mr Asprey as Rallye Chairman advised that will be undertaken as soon as possible.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:15pm with another vote of thanks to Rick and Strokers.  A post-meeting addendum from Chris as NTNOA President - an Executive Meeting will be scheduled to discuss next steps and action items for the Rallye - date/time and venue to be advised.

By all accounts the second annual NTNOA Strokers Bike Show was a success, despite the heat.  This year it was decided to open up the show to all makes thirty years old or older.  This resulted in quite a good showing of American and German machines as well as European.  Rick Fairless roped off a large area of prime space and we filled it with some fifty plus classics from an unrestored 1936 Knuckle head Harley Davidson to Bev Bowen’s beautiful China red Vincent.  One of the members of the club asked Rick about the Hamster Motorcycle Club and was told it is an invitational club for custom motorcycle builders.  Rick is quite proud to be a member.  The Hamsters are a club for custom builders who also ride their creations.  Rick has already invited us back next year. The 2012 Strokers Antique Motorcycle Show will be on Sunday June 24th, 2012.
