Lee Manis
1941 - 2006

Our good friend Lee Manis lost his battle against cancer Sunday morning  (January 1, 2006).

Lee was a remarkable man and a staunch supporter of classic Triumph motorcycles and our club.  He was a true motorcycle and race car enthusiast.  Lee raced Triumphs and along with Jack Wilson, Ed Mabry and Jay McCurry's Dad, Mike started Team Triumph Texas.  Lee hosted our Club Meeting in May of '03 at his hanger at Hicks Field.  It was one of our most memorable meetings.

Visitation was Thursday, January 5th, 2006 at the Greenwood Funeral Home in Ft Worth.  Lee was taken from the Greenwood Funeral Home to the DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie where Lee had full military honors in the Veterans cemetery.  There was a large precession of motorcycles with a police escort following Lee's motorcycle that was trailed behind his hearse.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Lee, Gwen, family and loved ones.

God Speed Lee - RIP
