The bikes (known in those days as "my motor or your motor") from left to right are: (1) a '39 61 OHV, (2) a Indian scout, (3) the first of the skirted Indian Chiefs, (4) a retired HD Dallas Police flat head Harley, (5) my "motor", a 1937 HD 61 OHV, (6) a flat head HD, probably a 74, and (7) a newer HD (note the 16 inch wheels). We went to several Gypsy Tours around the state. Four of us in the picture rode to the San Antonio Gypsy Tours.  Our favorite races were the TT dirt track. We all went our separate ways. One parachuted into France early on D day and is still living, two of the seven I know to be dead. I ended up in the nose of a B-17 as a Bombardier in the Eighth Air Force. The angle does not show my house which my wife and I refurbished in 1991 and moved "back home".  Click here to find out who I am.
