Countdown To Lake O' the Pines Rally
Staring at noon, October 7, 2005
days   hours   min.   sec.

The Annual Lake O' the Pines Rally will be October 7, 8 & 9, 2005.

The rally draws over 200 people displaying over 100 of the finest restored British & European motorcycles anywhere in the country.  Join the club at the “Big Cypress Marina" in Jefferson, Texas.  Display  your bike and enjoy yourself in a weekend full of great fun.  The rally this year will feature the "Texas Ceegar" along with other historic Bonneville race bikes.  Do the words Hog Slayer mean anything to you?  The Texas Ceegar will be shipped back to its home at the National motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, England immediately following the rally.  Don't miss this opportunity to see a part of history.

This year is the second consecutive year that the Tejas Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America will be a significant contributor to the Bike Show.  Their truly remarkable antiques will be on display for all to enjoy.  Three additional classes have been added to the Bike Show in order to accommodate their bikes.

David Edwards, Editor-In-Chief of Cycle World magazine will be there to honor his brother Kevin, a long time member of the NTNOA who passed away this year.

For an overview of the rally click on "Pines Needles and Chrome".  The Avinger Future Farmers of America (FFA) will once again handle our registration desk, after hours security and be selling hot-dogs and hamburgers this year.  They did a super job last year.
