Our 2016 May Club Meeting was at RPM Cycle on May 29th.

The rain subsided long enough for members and guests to ride to the meeting in dry conditions.  RPM Cycle being a multi-brand dealership for Triumph, Aprilia, KTM, Moto Guzzi, and Honda provided many examples of each to examine.  The new 2016 1200cc Triumph Thruxton R on display was especially impressive.

Dennis Tackett handled the MC duties and started the meeting off on time.  Since it was the Memorial Day weekend the first order of business was to honor those who have given their all for our country.  Dennis also recognized all those in attendance who have served.

Dennis summarized the very successful Spring Hill Country ride held the end of April.  This four day event is centered around Leakey, TX in the middle of the Twisted Sisters (hwy 335, 336 & 337). Once again this year the Lone Star Vincent Owners club joined us in the festivities.  More about the event can be found by clicking here.

Our next major club event is the June club meeting held in conjunction with our annual antique bike show at Rick Fairless' Strokers Dallas.  The bike show is open to all makes built prior to 1987 (30 years old or older). Bikes need to be in place starting at 11.00am and all bikes must be in place by noon. Each bike in the show will receive a voucher good for up to ten dollars of food at Strokers Dallas.

Our Lake O' the Pines Rallye for the first time ever will be held at Diamond Don's campground located just one mile north of Jefferson on highway 49.  Click here for more information.

It was mentioned that Jim Moon recently passed away.  The memorial details will be posted on the NTNOA homepage.  The family plans to spread the ashes at White Rock Lake and have a gathering a their house afterwards. The date has not be finalized.
